Book launch of The Face on Your Plate - The Truth about Food, by Jeffrey Masson

About 50 people attended the official book launch of Jeffery Masson's new book "The face on your plate: the truth about food". The bestselling author of titles such as "When elephants weep" and "The pig who sang to the moon", gave a lively, entertaining and informative introduction to his new book.

This event was organised by the Vegan Society, with Vegan Campaigns providing the catering. We served a full buffet including sausage casserole, chick pea korma, salads and quiche. Of course there was a yummy selction of cakes including raw chocolate torte, and coconut cup cakes. The food was enjoyed by all and many people asked for recipes and for advice about vegan cooking and baking. A big thank you to the following companies that donated food for this event.
