Free food and information stall at Street party

There was a very good atmosphere at the Vegan Campaigns stall at the Parkhurst Road street party with continual live music. Excited vegetarians were keen to sample the food and were very heartened that there was vegan food and information available. We managed to distribute food accompanied with some leaflets to most of the people attending the party.

We were informed of a few vegans who lived nearby and were struggling to find like-minded people. The parents and friends of these vegans were keen to hear about the Vegan Festival and other events that we organise. It was a worthwhile, if one-off event.
