Helgi Clayton McClure

Helgi Clayton McClure has been performing for about 4years, and his songwriting has coincided with a campaign against foie gras which was subsequently withdrawn from sale in York. He has played a variety of music including synth rock, experimental jazz, punk, garage and acoustic rock. Helgi`s solo repertoire includes themes such as urban fox migration, mythical beasts and teenage procrastination! His songs are often surreal and avoiding `romantic poetic themes`. This year he has begun recording new material, whilst supporting local arts groups and mentoring young musicians.
