These have been served at all of our food fayres so far. They are easy to put together and look great with all the different colours and textures. They can be gluten free depending on the cheeze used. Melting Cheezly by Redwoods is the best to use, most other vegan cheeze will crack and fall of the cocktail stick.
Cocktail Kebabs
1 x 8 oz (225g) plain or flavoured tofu
1 pkt vegan sausages
2 punnets cherry tomatoes
1 large tin pineapple (or equivalent in fresh)
1 red pepper
1 yellow pepper
1 green peppers
1 pkt vegan cheese (melting cheezly)
packet of cocktail sticks
1. If using plain tofu cut into 2 cm chunks (or preferred size) and marinade in a little soya sauce.
2. Cook sausages if required, as per instructions on packet.
3. Cut everything into 2cm chunks, (or preferred size), and arrange in different combinations on the cocktail sticks and serve.
